Services provided by this office include consultation, training, and resources to assist youth and family life ministries in parishes throughout the diocese. Among these are training of youth ministers; retreat training and coordination; Scouting religious recognition programs; coordinating and promoting various youth events (TEC retreats, mission/work camps, rallies, regional and national events); providing resources for marriage preparation and enrichment; Natural Family Planning promotion and resources; abstinence education; anti-violence resources; Respect Life projects and more.

World Youth Day 2011 - Madrid

In August, 2011, the Church will once again offer World Youth Day. This time, the event will take place in Madrid, Spain, and I am hoping you will consider bringing some youth/young adults. World Youth Day is intended for 18 year olds and older, but 16 year and 17 year olds can attend, if they are accompanied by a parent. We will depart from the Minneapolis airport on August 12 and return August 22. The cost of the trip is $3,148 with a $300 deposit due by March 15, 2010 to secure your spot.
