About Retrouvaille:

The word "Retrouvaille" (pronounced re-tro-vi with a long i) means "rediscovery". The program helps couples rediscover a loving relationship in the midst of despair.

Retrouvaille is a confidential weekend program along with follow up weekends that helps couples learn to better appreciate and communicate with one another.

Couples who have experienced disillusionment, pain, anger, and conflict, facilitate the weekend and offer hope so that you both will find courage and strength in that you are not alone in your struggle.

The mission of the Institute for Marital Healing is to strengthen Catholic marriages and families by educating spouses, marital therapists and clergy about common causes of conflicts in marital self-giving and effective approaches to alleviating such conflicts. Through a combination of online resources, educational programs and publications, the Institute employs a time-tested approach to marital therapy that recognizes the importance of both science and faith in the process of marital healing.

Supper & Substance

Supper & Substance is a simple, yet very positive approach to helping couples, within their church parish, appreciate that Matrimony is a life-long process which requires continual attention and God's loving presence.

The program offers the opportunity for spouses to meet with other couples from their parish, enjoy a nice meal (Supper), and witness an inspiring presentation (Substance)
